HOW DO YOU UNDERSTAND DEFEAT

Men of genius are admired. Men of wealth are envied. Men of power are feared, but only men of character are trusted.
Make failure your teacher not our undertaker.
Where you start is not as important as where you finish.
Love is not the basis for marriage; marriage is the basis for love. Being loved is the second best thing in the world, but loving someone is the best.
Remember- The free cheese is a mousetrap.
It is not what happens to you that determine how far you go in life; it is what you do with what happens to you.
The parent who truly has a good self-image understands that the real love demands they do what is best for the child.
Direction literally creates time.
Children pay more attention to what you do than what you say.
If you learn from defeat, you have not really lost.

HOW DO YOU VALUE SOMEONE IN YOUR LIFE

When someone we love is having difficulty and is giving us a bad time, it’s better to explore the cause than to criticize the action.

Take time to be quiet.

Obstacles are the things we see when we take our eyes off our goals.
The best thing a parent can do for a child is to love his or her spouse.

Your mate doesn't live by bread alone; he or she needs to be "buttered up" from time to time.
Other people and things can stop you temporarily. You’re the only one who can do it permanently.

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IMPOSSIBILITY THINKERS AND POSSIBILITY THINKERS

THE IMPOSSIBILITY THINKERS
The Impossibility Thinkers Are People Who Make Swift, Sweeping Passes Over A Proposed Idea, Scanning It With Shape Negative Eye, Looking Only For The Distasteful Aspects.
They Look For Reasons Why Something Won’t Work Instead Of Visualizing Ways In Which It Could Work. So They Say “No” To A Proposal, Never Giving The Idea A Fair Hearing.
Impossibility Thinkers Are People Who Immediately, Impulsively, Instinctively, And Impetuously React To Any Positive Suggestion With A Sweeping, Unstudied, Irresponsible Assortment Of Reason Why It Can’t Be Done, Or Why It Is A Bad Idea, Or How Someone Else Tried It And Failed ( And This Is Usually Their Clinching Argument) How Much It Will Cost!
Their Attitude Produces Doubt, Stimulate Fear, And Generate A Mental Climate Of Pessimism And Fatigue. They Are Worry Creators, Optimism Deflators, and Confidence Squelchers. The End Result?. Positive Ideas Buried, Dreams Smashed, And Project Torpedoed.

THE POSSIBILITY THINKERS
The Possibility Thinkers Resemble The Hummingbird That Look For And Find Honey, Often In The Most Unlikely And Unthinkable Places.
The Possibility Thinkers Perceptively Probe Every Problem, Proposal, And Opportunity To Discover The Positive Aspects Present In Almost Every Human Situation.
They Are People – Just Like You – Who When Faced With A Mountain Do Not Quit. They Keep On Striving Until They Climb Over, Find A Pass Through, Tunnel Underneath Or Simply Stay And Turn Their Mountain Into A Gold Mine.

What It Means to Speak like a CEO

Why You Must Speak Well: The Spotlight Is Always on You

The CEO Of A Firm With Four Hundred Employees And $430 Million In
Revenue Confided To Me, “It Would Be Nice To Be Invisible Once In A While.”
Unfortunately, You Cannot Wish The Spotlight Away. When You’re The
CEO, You Are In It 24-7. Somebody Is Always Watching.
“It’s Not Just Public Speaking,” The CEO Explained. “It Is Body Language,
Every Minute Of Every Day. If I Walk Around Moping, They Don’t
Think Something Is Wrong With Me; They Think Something Is Wrong With
The Company.” He Continued, “I Have Learned Not To Mope. It Doesn’t
Mean You’re Not Real With People. You Have To Be Real. But You Have To
Remember It’s Not Just About You.”

What It Means to Speak like a CEO

Speak informally to drivers in the morning
town hall assemblies
Meet with various management people for focus groups and
Attend recognition events
concerns
Sit down with the customers and discuss their issues and
Sit down with the press
community leaders

That’s what CEOs do.
Meet with stakeholders—whether it’s business partners or

Impossibility Complex

Ø  Do I Look For Reasons Why Something Can’t Be Done Instead Of Searching For Ways In Which It Can Be Done?
Ø  Do I Ever Make Decision Out Of Fear?
Ø  Do I Tend To Resist New Ideas And Prefer To Do Things The Way I’ve Always Done Them?
Ø  Do I Move Ahead Only When I Have Every Single Fact?
Ø  Do I Have A Tendency To Demand A Guarantee Of Success Before I Begin?
Ø  Do I Imagine The Opposition I Will Encounter Without Imagining The Support I Might Expect?
Ø  Do I Ever Turn Down An Idea Simply Because I Don’t Like It Or Because My Mind Is Already Made Up Or Because I’ve Made Other Plans?
Ø  Do I Ever Close My Mind To Suggestion Before Hearing The Full Explanations?
Ø  Do I Point Out The Disadvantages In An Idea Before I Point Out The Advantages?
Ø  Do I Ever Make Negative Decisions Because I Am Tired And It Easier?
Ø  If I Can’t Imagine A Solution To A Problem Am I Inclined To Turn Away Form It?
Ø  Do I Believe That Human Nature Can’t Be Altered; That A Man’s Life Can’t Be Changed?
“If you have answered many of these questions in the affirmative then the chances are very good that you are suffering from an impossibility complex”

<For one human being to love another: that is perhaps the most difficult of our tasks; the ultimate, the last test and proof, the work for which all other work is but preparation.>

HOW DO U LUV
